Satori Shakoor

Episode Notes

Detroit is Different because people like Satori are here. Formally trained in classical music, she wound up baptized in the Funk performing with George Clinton and the Parliment for years. Then to Hawaii, LA, and Toronto, she’s back in Detroit now. Satori’s Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers is often imitated but sincerely missed because Satori is the gateway for the creativity. Satori shares perspectives on having a healthy quality life and artistry. I encourage all artists to watch this interview for inspiration. Take out some time and witness creativity in thought. Support Satori by visiting online at www.twistedtellers.org and getting tickets and tuning in (PS Big Announcements are soon to come from Satori and Twisted Storytellers). Also, share and continue to visit www.detroitisdifferent.com.
