Episode Notes
Eric Campbell is a Father who’s creating art he’s passionate about to inspire himself, his children, and his elders. Riverwise Magazine is part of the legacy of Grace Lee Boggs and carries the mission of social justice she executed her whole life. Campbell is the editor and a writer finding community voices to collaborate in giving their expression of what’s happening in Detroit. Campbell wrote a series of political, business, and community work for the Michigan Citizen Newspaper (Shout Out to the legacy of Charles Kelly and my big homie Mrs. T Teresa Kelly). Giving a soundboard for neighborhood work is the intentionality of Riverwise, and for years now it’s creative mission has provided a platform for many (I was featured as a Riverwise writer). In this interview, we discuss music, Detroit attitude, and more.
